Robert Rechnitz

Robert Rechnitz is the founder of Los Angeles-based Bomel Companies and, most recently, Bomel Israel, Ltd. He is international chairman of the Jerusalem Conference. Mr. Rechnitz created the Iron Dome Congressional Tribute.

Robert Rechnitz is the founder of Los Angeles-based Bomel Companies and, most recently, Bomel Israel, Ltd.  He has a three-decade track record of real estate development success that includes projects ranging from single-family residential communities to the rehabilitation of city districts.  Bomel Companies has a diversified $500 million current portfolio of ground-up developments, use-conversions, income properties, and capital placement ventures.

Bomel Israel Ltd. Is developing a major 13,000 sq.m. luxury apartment project in Jerusalem’s Mamilia neighborhood.
Mr. Rechnitz has made global philanthropic commitments, especially on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people.  He is international chairman of the Jerusalem Conference (5th annual conference, February 19-20, 2008); Vice Chairman’s Board,   Republican Jewish Coalition; Board of Governors, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center; patron, L.A. County Museum of Art; L.A. World Affairs Council; former president, Ambassador’s Society of Trustees, State of Israel Bonds.

Mr. Rechnitz was given the California Business Man of the Year Award by the Republican Congressional Committee in 2003.
