CELEBRATING HIS HISTORIC BREAKTHROUGH IN ALD THERAPIES
Members of Congress will honor Mr. Augusto Odone,whose perseverance and devotion to his son, Lorenzo, is truly inspirational. The luncheon will educate those in attendance about his poignant journey and the important work of The Myelin Project in researching treatments and potential cures for and raising awareness of adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD).
The event will also celebrate the start of the campaigns to award Mr. Odone with a commemorative Senate resolution and the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his contributions to the treatment of ALD and his founding of The Myelin Project.
