Bill Mulrow was appointed Secretary to  the Governor  on January 11, 2015. 
 
Mr. Mulrow has more than 30 years of experience in business, government and politics. He has extensive experience in both the private and public sectors, having served in several positions in the financial sector as well as having served in a broad array of federal, state and local government and political positions. 
 
Most recently Mr. Mulrow was a Senior Managing Director at Blackstone, the world's largest alternative asset manager. In addition to his business career, Mr. Mulrow has served in numerous public positions throughout his career, including as Governor Cuomo's appointee as the Chairman of the New York State Housing Finance Agency and the State of New York Mortgage Agency. 
 
Previously, he served as a Commissioner of the Special Commission on Judicial Compensation, Director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York, Director of the Municipal Assistance Corporation for the City of New York, Director of the United Nations Development Corporation, Chairman of the Westchester County Industrial Development Agency, and Chairman of the New York City Rent Guidelines Board. 
 
Mr. Mulrow has also served in a number of academic posts including the Board of Advisors for the Taubman Center for State and Local Government at the Harvard Kennedy School. 
 
 He is a graduate of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and of Yale College where he graduated Cum Laude and was a Rhodes Scholar finalist.
 
Gary S. Belkin, MD, PhD, MPH was appointed as Executive Deputy Commissioner for Mental Hygiene of the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene after an exhaustive nationwide search in 2014.

Dr. Belkin's came DOHMH from his position as Senior Director for Psychiatric Services at the NYC Health & Hospitals Corporation. His career has involved progressive responsibility in policy and systems development for public health and mental health services in US urban settings, including at Bellevue Hospital Center where he served as Deputy Director of the Department of Psychiatry.

Dr. Belkin is also an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at NYU School of Medicine.

He has particular experience in the historical context of medical patents, mental health theories, and ethical issues. His residency was at Massachusetts General Hospital and he has held an appointment at Harvard Medical School for many years. Dr. Belkin has been involved in several projects aimed at extending the uses of community-based mental health strategies in New York City and internationally, and exploring the degree they can be used for larger social policy and public health purposes.
 
Tamara N. Holder is an attorney and legal/political analyst for FOX News Channel. She is the creator and founder of "Sports Court," the only sports show across all Fox News' platforms. She is also a Second City trained comedian and performs political standup across the country.
