Several hundred Jewish leaders from across the U.S. recently traveled to Washington, D.C., to offer their gratitude to members of Congress for their staunch support of the U.S.-Israel relationship. Nearly two-dozen members of Congress participated.
The Iron Dome Congressional Tribute, which was coordinated by Ezra Friedlander and The Friedlander Group, was chaired by Robert Rechnitz, a prominent Los Angeles-based Jewish philanthropist and businessman who is the principal of Bomel Companies.

Robert Rechnitz is the founder of Los Angeles-based Bomel Companies and, most recently, Bomel Israel, Ltd. He is international chairman of the Jerusalem Conference. Mr. Rechnitz created the Iron Dome Congressional Tribute.
